LEAVE NO STREAKS ON YOUR WINDOWS

Have you tried cleaning those windows only to end up with smudges and streaks that made the windows worse than before the wash? Did you repeat the same process more than once and ended up with the same result? Well, you ain't alone in this. Window cleaning is just one of those house tasks that beg to be hired out. All the spraying, reaching up and wiping only to end up with too many streaks make it one of the most dreaded house chores. It does not have to be that way for you, Spotless windows aren't just a case a bottle of Window cleaner and a packet of paper towels. Here is how to clean windows and not leave streaks.

The most basic tip; If you need to dilute your cleaner, do that with something that is clean. You should be choosy on what liquid you use to clean the windows. The naked truth about glass is that you see absolutely everything. If you use hard water it makes a difference. However, if you use distilled water in place of tap water, it will clear all the streaky deposits from your windows.

The cheapest way to clear those window streaks is to use vinegar. It is as great on your window as it is in your salad. It also costs almost nothing. A 50/50 vinegar water solution works miracles.Just use the solution like you use any mixture, spray and wipe. The vinegar scent may stick around for a few hours therefore this is not an option if you gag at the smell. Additionally, If you are cleaning tough stains that require the use of detergent, put a pinch in the mixture. Use of too much will require increased volume of the solution that could leave streaks of the cleaner on the window.

What materials you use to clean matter a lot with regards to the final result. Remember that window cleaning day bucket you carry around? let there be no roll of paper towels inside. These do not only leave streaks but linty streaks. In place of paper towels, use microfiber cloth, a handful of newspaper or best yet a squeegee. Newspapers are amazing on all types of glass only that they require the use of gloves.

It is always advisable to finish a window job with a buff. To get rid of that stubborn streak; the one that remains even after doing all the right things, buff the window. A regular rag will do the trick, however, it is recommended to use a microfiber cloth. Keep the buff rug dry and buff over the glass. The streaks will just disappear. Lastly, keep up with the job as the longer the time between clean ups the more the dirt accumulation. There you have it!
